A Brief Look at Exploration
I left Parse in April with the intent to a) move to New York and b) spend three glorious months not trying to answer the question of “so what’s up next?”
While I was still working, I’d been building up a queue of technology I wanted to spend time playing with, and the plan was (as is my habit), while investigating each new thing, to take notes for myself on topics along the way.
Though the contents of said notes will almost certainly not be worth making available for public consumption, I thought it’d be interesting to do a quick wc -w across each of the files to see what topics I found worth writing about (or copying paragraphs from documentation for), and which notes composed primarily of links to documentation or other resources.
I may take this data and my newly gained d3 experience and turn it into something pretty, but for now, some good old-fashioned text:

The plan now is to do a final recap post of my #funemployment, highlighting some of these topics (and the endeavors that caused gaps in note-taking!) before jumping into something new. We’ll see where the winds take us!
